YOGA

Yoga is the quieting of the fluctuations of the mind.

Yoga menas "union." Union of our body, mind, soul, spirit and the environment. Through the practice of yoga we deepen our connection with our essential nature. Yoga helps integrate the different layers of our life. It is through asana (yoga postures), pranayama (breath), and meditation that we gain access to our capacity to facilitate purification, presence, and transformation in our lives. As an individual in long-term recovery, I know first hand the power this "practice" has to cleanse our physical body, ground our minds, and make better our lives.
